AS any user of legitimate online music sites knows, the going rate for a song is 99 cents.

So why would Yahoo experiment with selling just one song and one from an artist as lame as Jessica Simpson for more than double that price? Yes, it's personalized with your name on it downloaded from music.yahoo.com/jessicaforyou but is that enough to make someone spend $1.99 for it?
